  • Decree-Law No. 46235, of 8 March 1965 and Decree-Law No. 28\/88 of 6 September.

    The Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road was implemented by Decree-Law No.46235, done at Geneva on 18 May 1956 and the Decree \u2013 Law 28\/88 approves the Protocol to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Provides rules for national carriage of goods by road. Stablishes rights and duties for every part involved in the expedition of goods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Approves the regime governing assets in circulation regarding the transactions between subject to VAT entities, namely as far as documents of transports are concerned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Defines the model of the Transport Document. Obliges the identification of the forwarder, the identification of the consignee as well as the nature and quantity of goods that will be forwarder, inter alia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Transport must be done according to the terms and conditions of CMR convention<\/li>
            • Weight\/Volume ratio: 1 m3 = 333 Kgs \/ 1 Loading Meter = 1.750 Kgs<\/li>
            • Transport price may change if the measures and\/or weight of the goods is different from the initially proposed.<\/li>
            • The proposal is not valid for ADR goods (except of when it\u2019s mentioned in the quotation asked)<\/li>
            • The proposal is not valid\u00a0 <\/span>for daily stops in enclosed and monitored parking areas (except of when it\u2019s mentioned in the quotation asked)<\/span><\/li>
            • The proposal, unless otherwise specified, is available for transports between companies with normal working hours. Deliveries or pick-ups in private houses, exhibitions, hotels and other similar places, may have an extra cost. This value is offered analyzing each situation in particular<\/li>
            • The proposal includes the following waiting times based on the type of contracted transport. Additional time incurs an extra cost of \u20ac35 per hour, with a limit of \u20ac350 per day:

              \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – Maximum waiting time for Groupage: 30 minutes<\/span><\/p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – Maximum waiting time for Full Load: 120 minutes<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                Insurance Information<\/span>

                • The insurance of goods is not included in the proposal.<\/li>
                • Brunotir is not liable for the damages caused in goods containing glass or stone which are not properly packaged and loaded.<\/li>
                • All International Transport carried out by BRUNOTIR is exclusively covered by CMR Insurance. The Civil Liability of the Road Transport Carrier will be as stipulated under the applicable law, namely the CMR convention in the context of international transport and Portuguese legislation, in the case of national transport.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                  Packaging<\/span>

                  • All the goods that will be forwarded must be properly packaged to guarantee their protection from any damage during the transport process. As well as packages must be properly labelled to guarantee their identification.<\/li>\n
                  • Brunotir reserves themself the right to not accept to load goods if they are not properly packaged and correctly labelled.<\/li>\n
                  • According to the decree-law 95\/2011 of 8 August, all the wooden pallets\/packages must necessarily be fumigated. This is an obligation of the exporter company.<\/li>
                  • Client\nmust have conditions to load and offload the goods. The responsibility of\nloading and packaging goods belongs to the client  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
